INVITATION FOR NOMINATIONS

FOR ELECTION OF

OFFICERS

AND

MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL

FOR THE YEAR 2015-2017

 

NOMINATIONS of candidates for election are invited from Members of the Montserrat Bar Association and must be received by the Secretary, Ms. Marcelle Watts no later than 4:00p.m. on Friday 30^th January 2015, for the Officers, that is the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and the three Ordinary Members of the Council.

 

ELECTIONS will be conducted by ballot at the Montserrat Bar Associations’ Annual General Meeting scheduled for the 3^rd April 2015 at 1:00p.m. at the Magistrate’s Court, Brades, Montserrat.

 

A nomination of a candidate for election to the Council must:-

• be in writing and signed by not less than three practitioner members;
• name only one candidate; and
• be endorsed by the candidate, through his consent to his nomination.

The term of office for Members of the Council is two years commencing on April 1, 2015 and ending on March 31, 2017.
